A delegation from Water Services Trust Fund in Kenya met representatives of NDF
On Tuesday 1 September 2015, a delegation from Water Services Trust Fund in Kenya visited NDF. The delegation was composed of Hon. Musikari Kombo, Chairman of the Board, Ismail Fahmy M Shaiye, Chief Executive Officer, Ruth Nganga, Programme officer and Jeremy Notley, Advisor. The meeting was also attended by Reuel Kamau Waithaka, Specialist on Environment and Natural Resources from Kenyan Embassy of Finland and Jatta Väisänen from Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland. Mikko Kuuskoski from Finnfund was also present.
Topics of Mutual interests, mainly private sector participation and access to commercial financing in water sector were discussed. NDF’s project activities in Kenya and support to the African Water Facility were highlighted. Water Services Trust Fund receives funding from Finland and Sweden, but is also partner in two NCF projects led by Orgut Consulting in Sweden.
