RFP Urban Development and Climate Change

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified firms for the provision a study on URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND CLIMATE CHANGE: Current and Historic Urban Footprint, Urban Growth Scenarios and Basic Studies on Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation. The expected outcome of the consultancy is to develop an understanding of the urban dynamics that will aid cities in planning their growth policies. The study will analyze the historic growth of selected intermediate LAC cities, its projected growth under current trends, and the effects that the vulnerability to natural disasters and to climate change adaptation and mitigation will have on their growth.
