Results Report 2025 reflects the results and insights from Strategy 2025
NDF has launched its Results Report 2025, marking the completion of its previous strategy period and showcasing the results achieved over the past five years.
The report highlights the power of NDF’s catalytic climate finance, demonstrating how targeted, early-stage investments can unlock large-scale results, strengthen resilience, and support sustainable development across the globe.
Delivering impact for people and the planet
Between 2020 and 2025, NDF and its partners delivered measurable results across climate mitigation, adaptation, and sustainable development.
During the Strategy period, our catalytic and early-stage financing contributed to climate solutions supporting 228 million people, of whom 50% are women. Our cofinancing has also contributed to 25.8 million clean energy connections, and around 60,000 jobs have been supported annually, of which 30% are held by women. In addition, through our catalytic role, we have contributed to mobilising EUR 10.5 billion in additional finance towards development and climate investments.
These results illustrate the scale and reach of NDF’s co-financing, achieved through close collaboration with partners, and a strong focus on innovation and impact.
Strengthening Nordic climate leadership
Over the past strategy period, NDF has strengthened its role as a catalytic and innovative climate finance institution, mobilising additional climate finance, advancing climate solutions, and contributing to Nordic leadership on a global stage.
