EOI Study of Geothermal Energy in Nicaragua

The Government of Nicaragua has received a grant from the Nordic Development Fund (NDF) towards the cost of the Sustainable Electrification and Renewable Energy Programme. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the grant will be applied to eligible payments for Consulting Services for the Pre-Feasibility Study of Volcán Cosigüina Geothermal Project.

The pre-feasibility study will include the following components: Geology, geochemical prospecting, geophysical exploration, hydrogeological survey, scientific geo-integration, and preliminary conceptual models.

The Ministry of Energy and Mines now invites interested consultants who have the necessary capacity and qualifications to express their interests in providing these services.
