Energy efficiency training course in Nicaragua
The Nicaraguan Centre for Cleaner Production (CPML) with trainers from Motiva Services Oy completes a week-long training course on energy efficiency.
NDF participated in the last day of a week-long course on energy efficiency at the National University of Engineering (UNI) campus in Managua. Participants in the course included energy professionals, staff from Ministry of Energy and Mines, teachers from the National University of Engineering, and staff from CPML. The course was jointly developed by CPML and Motiva Services Oy and forms part of the project: Strengthening National Capacities on Energy Efficiency, Nicaragua. This two-year project is financed by the Nordic Climate Facility and aims to improve the industrial and service sectors competitiveness by increasing national capacity on energy efficiency, through technical assistance, awareness raising and investment promotion on energy efficiency.
