EEP Mekong Second Call for Proposals: 14 projects pre-selected
14 new projects were pre-selected during EEP Mekong Fourth Steering Committee Meeting held in Luang Prabang on December 16-17, 2010.
The Second Call for Proposals in the EEP Mekong was open in the period 2 August to 15 october 2010. A total of 105 proposals were received and out of these 81 were found to be eligible.
After an evaluation of the 81 eligible proposals 14 were invited to send a full project document. The value of EEP support for these pre-selected proposals is about 2 MEUR.
The projects pre-selected by the Steering Committee, their identification numbers, their country of implementation, their technical focus and their field of activity are shown in the table.

The partner in the pre-selected projects include the following countries: Finland 4, Sweden 3, Denmark 2, Norway 1, France 1, Netherlands 1, and Regional Mekong 2.
The full proposals will be submitted by 18 February 2011 and the final selection of the projects to be financed will take place in March and April.
