Our recruitment process



Usually applying for an open position takes place through completing an online application form and attaching your CV, cover letter and other relevant documents in NDF’s recruitment system. You will receive an email confirmation from NDF when the application has been received. NDF uses HR services of the Nordic Investment Bank (NIB), but may for recruitment purposes also use other service providers and their channels.



Shortlisting is carried out after the application deadline. Both hiring managers and HR specialists are usually involved in the shortlisting process.


First interview

Interviews are usually conducted by the hiring manager and an HR specialist. Prior to the interview, we may conduct a video interview with a candidate.


Second interview

Interviews are usually carried out by the hiring manager and an HR specialist. This stage may also include assessments or work-related tasks.



The selected candidate receives an official offer from NDF after the reference check. The recruitment is finalised by signing of the employment contract. All candidates still active at this stage of the process will be contacted by an HR specialist as to the outcome.
