NDF welcomes a new Communications Officer
As of 1 August, Ms Paula Fincke has joined the Nordic Development Fund team to take up the position of our Communications Officer. In this role, she will strengthen, develop and support the communications and visibility activities of NDF.
With a versatile experience in media and communications in international contexts, she joins us from the UN Women Headquarters, where she worked in the global communications team. She has previously worked with communications, partnerships and event management at UNESCO (Paris, France) and at L’Arche International (Paris, France), where she worked on disability inclusion and communications.
“I’m very excited to join the NDF Team and to reinforce the organisation’s visibility globally. NDF’s work on climate is changing lives and it is now more important than ever to communicate about these impactful projects to the world”, says Paula.
Paula holds an MA degree of International Strategic Communications from the University of Burgundy and a Postgraduate Certificate on Sustainable Development from SOAS University of London, the Centre for Development, Environment and Policy. She is a citizen of Finland, and speaks fluently Finnish, English, French and Arabic and has a good understanding of Swedish and Spanish.
